Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Aquarium Calculator (the "site") you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The calculators are estimates
Every result the site produces — volume, stocking level, heater wattage, filtration, substrate, water changes and weight — is an estimate for planning purposes only. The figures depend on the values you enter and on general assumptions about typical tanks, equipment and livestock. They are not a substitute for your own judgement, professional advice, or testing your own water.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the calculators are free of errors, that results are accurate or complete, or that the site will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including harm to livestock, equipment or property — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. You use the calculators at your own risk and remain responsible for the welfare of your animals.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, calculators and underlying methodology are the property of Aquarium Calculator and are protected by applicable law. You may use the tools freely for your own aquarium planning, but you may not copy, scrape or republish the content as your own.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version always applies, as marked by the 'last updated' date above. We welcome corrections and feedback — see the contact page.
