Privacy Policy
Aquarium Calculator is built to be private by default. This page explains exactly what data the site does and doesn't handle.

Information we collect
Aquarium Calculator requires no account, login or sign-up, and we do not ask for or store your name, email or any personal details to use the calculators. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — the figures you type are not transmitted to or saved on our servers.
Data stored in your browser
A couple of small preferences are saved locally on your own device using your browser's storage: your light or dark theme choice and any tank profiles you choose to save in the stocking calculator. This data never leaves your device, is not visible to us, and you can erase it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which calculators are useful, it is configured to collect only aggregate, anonymous usage data and never to identify you personally.
Third-party services
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and they may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not sell your data or share any other information with third parties.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. To remove the preferences stored on your device, clear this site's data in your browser settings. If you have any questions about privacy, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the 'last updated' date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
